Hello, my name is John Thiessen… I’m very proud to own and operate Okanagan Digital Media. ODM is a full service VIDEO production company. Serving KELOWNA – PENTICTON – VERNON along with companies and individuals WORLDWIDE, specializing in CORPORATE VIDEO PRODUCTION along with producing professional WEDDING VIDEOS. I have many years behind many lenses and many hours in the editing studio producing a wide variety of content. In addition to Okanagan Digital Media, I also own and operate Alta Resort Productions in Banff – Alberta and have been doing so since 1988. The commute can be tiresome, but shooting in the Canadian Rockies and the Okanagan on a daily basis has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember.

I think the best thing about life is every morning you get a new chance to make a difference. It doesn’t need to be earth shattering to count. Ultimately, “Do more for others than you would have them do for you” just about says it all. In no particular order Me, Myself & I live with the following:

My daughter has special rules for “DAD” when the family goes out in public… Really, I’m not that bad - “MYSELF” is honest & transparent
What you see is what you should get, not an imitation or a facade - “I” loves food
Homemade Baby Back Ribs, Spaghetti & Meatballs or a good Bar-B-Qued tenderloin win hands down - “ME” Loves to travel
Favorite place would be boogie boarding anywhere on the island of Maui - “MYSELF” is from Winnipeg
“I” told “MYSELF” to forget about the cold & leave the faux fur lined parka in Manitoba 30 years ago - “I” has been married for nearly 25 years
Me, Myself & I got married to the love of our lives (Deb) on Margarita Island in Venezuela. The wedding day didn’t go perfect, but it will always be “ours”. Deb is also affectionately known as “upper management” - “ME” Enjoys Umbrellas in his drinks
Not a huge fan of beer… Fermented grape juice aka “Wine” and Slushy Margarita’s always have a spot in the house of Thiessen - “MYSELF” Enjoys golfing but thinks work gets in the way
“I” tries to walk at least nine holes five out of seven mornings in the summer… The key word there is “try” - “I” Loves SPORTS… NHL- Jets & Flames … NFL- Patriots & 49′ers … CFL- Blue Bombers & Stampeders
“Myself” is over the moon that the Jets have returned back to Winnipeg - Our FAMILY motto…
